This 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood was converted in Japan back in 1993 into a Miyagata-style hearse
Features a hand-carved wood rear compartment. The conversion cost over $450,000 USD back then. It’s all hand carved wood and intricate artwork throughout. It’s an incredible sight to see. The car is finished in black over blue cloth upholstery and powered by a 5.7-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Don’t forget this is the last year for Cadillacs coming with the 5.7liter V8 with RWD! Equipment includes heated and power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, an AM/FM/CD/cassette stereo, and power accessories. The car was imported back to the US in June 2020 in the midst of Covid. The hearse is finished in black and features bright lower bodywork and a wood rear compartment with hand carvings, brass inlays, and a copper roof. Blemishes include bubbling beltline trim, cracked paint, and chipped bumper trim. Nothing major just normal wear and tear over 30 years. This hearse can easily be restored but also is still magnificent the way it is. The alloy 15″ wheels are wrapped in 235/70 Goodyear Eagle GA tires. The car is equipped with traction control, and stopping power is provided by power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums with ABS. The cabin features heated and power-adjustable front seats upholstered in blue cloth, while faux wood trim accents the dashboard and door panels. Equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, an AM/FM/CD/cassette stereo, power accessories, and a rear partition. The rear compartment features decorative panels and a dragon painting on the ceiling. The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a digital instrument panel with a speedometer and a fuel gauge. The digital odometer indicates 26k miles. This car is a show stopper at all and any car shows, cars and coffee’s, etc. People will overlook all hyper cars to come take a peak at this one of a kind beauty.
